Live edge bathroom vanity with a twist

Here is a new bathroom vanity that I custom made for a client in Nor Cal. The wood of choice is Parota  and the final finish is tung oil and polyurethane. The Thickness of this allow us to hide a significant portion of the drain within the slab top.

It was staged with a bowl and faucet to give an idea as to how it might look

It started life as a 8ft exotic slab

We choose the most intriguing facet to be a focal point

The backside of this vanity slab has been cut with a blade with manufacturing tolerances measured in microns not fractions of inches.

A very special slab for a very special home. Custom pieces take thought and care please reach out to me if you would like to discuss your project  with made in del mar.

Deluxe Hardwood Legs

I received these legs today! I'm going to add a genuine piece of Mid Century Americana to a black walnut coffee table. I will be sure to slip on a pair of loafers and a V-neck sweater when I use these legs.
